Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer β City of London (FM Sector) Location: Moorgate Salary: Up to Β£48k + Overtime + Benefits Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 Hours per week A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their dedicated on-site team at a prestigious Museum. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring that critical electrical systems operate seamlessly to support staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on all electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and control systems. Perform fault finding, minor electrical installations, and ensure full compliance with statutory and H&S regulations. Support with BMS monitoring, fire alarm testing, emergency lighting inspections, and UPS maintenance. Liaise with staff and contractors to minimise disruption during maintenance works. Maintain accurate records, logbooks, and update CAFM systems.Candidate Requirements: City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 or NVQ in Electrical Installations. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671). Experience in a similar commercial or educational FM environment. Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
