We are recruiting on behalf of a long-standing client—a global leader in data hosting—for a Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their in-house engineering team at a flagship data centre in Hertfordshire.

This is a permanent role, ideally suited to an experienced engineer looking for long-term career progression in a secure and well-structured environment.

  • Monitoring and maintaining critical electrical and M&E infrastructure.
  • Supporting the safe operation of electrical systems and maintaining compliance with all relevant procedures and guidelines.

Recognised qualifications in electrical engineering (e.g. Experience in a critical environment is preferred (data centres, finance, pharma, etc.) Must hold Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK, with a minimum of 5 years continuous UK residency (due to site security clearance requirements).

  • £51,000 basic + £2,500 shift allowance + 10% bonus
  • Continental shifts (12-hour, rotating days and nights)
  • £2,500 annual shift allowance
  • ~10% annual performance bonus
  • Daily meal allowance and travel expense support
