Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Wandsworth

Salary: £44,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday – Days

Location: Wandsworth, London

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s team at a commercial site in Wandsworth. This is a hands‑on role focused on PPM, reactive maintenance and electrical fault finding, ensuring site plant and equipment remain safe, reliable and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults
  • Emergency light testing, fire alarm testing, sprinkler testing
  • Plant room maintenance and maintenance on plant pumps
  • Maintenance on HVAC Equipment
  • Carry out inspections, testing and servicing
  • Fault find on electrical control systems
  • Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime

Requirements

  • Recognised electrical qualification – City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship, HNC/HND or equivalent
  • Previous electrical maintenance experience
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with motors, drives, control panels and electrical systems
  • Good understanding of electrical drawings
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
