PRS Recruitment Agency is currently seeking an experienced Shift Plumber / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work with one of our prestigious clients in Denmark Hill, London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to join a well-established organisation, offering competitive pay, ongoing training and a supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in a timely and efficient manner.
Complete reactive maintenance works promptly and effectively.
Diagnose and repair plumbing and mechanical faults.
Carry out basin, tap and sanitaryware replacements.
Undertake general building services and mechanical maintenance.
Complete minor fabric works, including repairs to doors, locks and fixtures.
Ensure the site and associated plant and equipment remain fully operational.
Respond to maintenance issues and emergencies as required.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete relevant documentation.
Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety and site compliance requirements.
Work effectively as part of a professional shift maintenance team.
Requirements City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Plumber, Shift Plumber or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
Strong practical knowledge of plumbing and mechanical building services.
Experience with both PPM and reactive maintenance.
Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of Health & Safety and compliance.
