PRS are working with a global FM services provider who are actively seeking a BMS Applications Engineer to join their team on a hybrid basis, based out of their office in London. This opportunity gives you the chance to work with one of the most well-known FM clients, while providing key career experience to enhance your knowledge and abilities.
This role offers a salary of £48,000 + discretionary bonus, 70-80% remote work with site visits required and occasional office days based out of London. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering master systems integration for Building Management Systems (BMS), including configuring control databases, engineering user interfaces, and setting up control systems to project specifications.
- Providing remote and on-site technical support, software installation, system start-up, and commissioning.
- Performing system testing, checkout, and commissioning.
- Acting as technical liaison with owners and construction managers.
- Providing on-site operator training for installed systems.
- Coordinating installations with contractors on-site.
- Delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of three years related industry experience, or equivalent experience.
- HVAC knowledge.
- BMS Commissioning.
- BMS Programming and user interface engineering.
- UK Clean Driving License.
Additional Requirements:
- Requires knowledge of basic financial terms and principles.
- Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions.
- Conducts basic financial analysis.
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of the use, setup and operation of Windows-based computers and desktop applications such as MS-Word and MS-Excel.
- Experience with control and HVAC systems and their terminology.
