PRS are working with a global FM services provider who are actively seeking a BMS Applications Engineer to join their team on a hybrid basis, based out of their office in London. This opportunity gives you the chance to work with one of the most well-known FM clients, while providing key career experience to enhance your knowledge and abilities.
This role offers a salary of £48,000 + discretionary bonus, 70-80% remote work with site visits required and occasional office days based out of London. The role involves delivering master systems integration for Building Management Systems (BMS), including configuring control databases, engineering user interfaces, and setting up control systems to project specifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Remote and on-site technical support
- Software installation
- System start up and commissioning
- Performing system testing, checkout, and commissioning
- Acting as technical liaison with owners and construction managers
- Providing on-site operator training for installed systems
- Coordinating installations with contractors on-site
- Delivering projects on schedule and within budget
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of three years related industry experience, or equivalent experience
- HVAC knowledge
- BMS Commissioning
- BMS Programming and user interface engineering
- UK Clean Driving License
Requires knowledge of basic financial terms and principles, with the ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis. Must possess a thorough knowledge of the use, setup and operation of Windows-based computers and desktop applications such as MS-Word and MS-Excel. Experience with control and HVAC systems and their terminology.
