Workshop Supervisor in Redhill

PRS are looking for a permanent member of staff, a Working Foreman for our clients workshop based in Salfords, near Horley.

You would be responsible for ensuring that the team work effectively, safely and with a fair distribution of tasks.

You would provide hands-on support with the construction of outdoor furniture (made from recycled plastic).

The package: 8:30am
– 5pm Monday
– Friday £35,000 per year Permanent role 28 days holiday Responsibilities: Managing the flow of stock and products to maintain a consistent workflow Assigning tasks to workshop staff Ensuring staff are working efficiently Addressing and resolving staff disputes Ensuring products are dispatched on schedule and coordinating deliveries Carrying out basic machine maintenance (flatbed CNC, radial arm saw, pillar drills) Making occasional deliveries or collections Required Skills: Strong time-management abilities Previously in a role with woodwork, metalwork, factory/machinery Have Supervisory experience Good communication skills General computer proficiency Knowledge of xiskglj health & safety regulations Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Company pension On-site parking Application question(s): Do you have experience in a workshop working with wood, metal or plastics?
