PRS Recruitment Solutions are looking for a Working Foreman for our clients workshop based in Salfords, near Horley. You would be responsible for ensuring that the team work effectively, safely and with a fair distribution of tasks. You would provide hands-on support with the construction of outdoor furniture (made from recycled plastic).
The package:
- 8:30am - 5pm Monday - Friday
- £35,000 per year
- Temp to perm
Responsibilities:
- Managing the flow of stock and products to maintain a consistent workflow
- Assigning tasks to workshop staff
- Ensuring staff are working efficiently
- Addressing and resolving staff disputes
- Ensuring products are dispatched on schedule and coordinating deliveries
- Carrying out basic machine maintenance (flatbed CNC, radial arm saw, pillar drills)
- Making occasional deliveries or collections
Required Skills:
- Strong time-management abilities
- Previously in a role with woodwork, metalwork, factory/machinery
- Have Supervisory experience
- Good communication skills
- General computer proficiency
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations
