Key Responsibilities:

– Management of Technicians: Proactively manage Workspace Engineering Technicians by setting clear objectives and providing support to achieve their goals.
– Communication: Clearly communicate the account vision and purpose, translating it into deliverables and demonstrating their contribution.
– Coaching & Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports, guiding them in creating development plans and regularly reviewing their performance.
– Contract Compliance: Ensure compliance with all client contract requirements and meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
– System Operation: Operate all building systems competently, effectively, and efficiently, including HV operations where required.
– Plant & Work Inspections: Conduct regular plant inspections, work inspections, and audits to drive operational excellence across the site.
– Procedure Development: Support the creation and adoption of standard and emergency operating procedures, providing training as necessary.
– Risk & Safety: Adhere to the accountโs Risk & Safety work practices to mitigate the risk of service interruptions to client operations.
– Vendor Coordination: Coordinate, manage, and oversee vendors performing a wide range of workplace-related services on-site.
– Collaboration & Improvement: Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for improving technical service delivery and enhancing the workplace experience.
– Continuous Improvement: Strive for continuous improvement by identifying and implementing service enhancements and adaptations.
Requirements:
– Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
– 18th Edition certification
– L8 Domestic certification
– Competent in operating evaporative cooling water systems and familiar with Legionella regulations
– HV Authorised Person
– C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2
– Knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation relevant to safe working practices
