A leading Facilities Management company is seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site team. Working within a commercial building environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of electrical systems through planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled PPMs on electrical systems and equipment.
- Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance tasks promptly and efficiently.
- Perform fault diagnosis, repair works, and minor installations.
- Test and inspect electrical systems, including emergency lighting and fire alarm checks.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Accurately complete job reports and update service logs.
- Support other engineers and contractors on-site where required.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).
- 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing (desirable).
- Experience in a commercial FM environment.
- Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently.
