We’re recruiting on behalf of a rapidly expanding client in the food-to-go sector, seeking a passionate and experienced Area Manager to support the growth and performance of branded food outlets — including Greggs and other leading QSR brands — across the Cambridgeshire region. About the Role: As the Food to Go Area Manager, you’ll work closely with Contract Managers to drive performance, uphold brand standards, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. You’ll play a key role in training and development, brand compliance audits, and delivering commercial results across your area. Key Responsibilities: * Support Contract Managers in the day-to-day running and development of food-to-go operations * Ensure full compliance with franchisor regulations and food safety legislation * Deliver the facility fee budget and drive commercial performance in your region * Conduct regular site visits (bi-weekly for Subway, quarterly for other brands) * Deliver training and support for managers and front-line teams * Manage compliance audits, follow-ups, and support stores to meet brand standards * Collaborate with the Brand Operations Manager to resolve issues and improve standards * Assist with the rollout of new hot food developments in the region * Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders * Attend weekly and monthly operations meetings What We’re Looking For: * Experience in branded food retail (e.g. Subway, Burger King, McDonald’s, Greggs) * Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role within a QSR or food retail setting * Level 3 Food Hygiene (minimum requirement) * Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills * Strong knowledge of food safety and retail operations * Comfortable working independently and across multiple sites * Flexible to travel and support other regions when required What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary * Company car or car allowance * Excellent benefits package * Opportunity to join a fast-growing, dynamic business 📩 Ready to make your next move?
