We are currently looking for an experienced School Chef to join a school in the Waltham Forest area, starting immediately.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and enthusiastic chef looking for ongoing temporary work, working Monday to Friday during school hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals for pupils and staff
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
- Following food safety, allergen and health & safety procedures
- Managing kitchen operations efficiently
- Working as part of a friendly catering team
- Ensuring meals are prepared and served on time
Requirements
- Previous experience as a School Chef or within a similar education/catering environment
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and allergen requirements
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant food hygiene qualification preferred
