Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Wandsworth
Salary: £44,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday – Days
Location: Wandsworth, London
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s team at a commercial site in Wandsworth. This is a hands‑on role focused on PPM, reactive maintenance and electrical fault finding, ensuring site plant and equipment remain safe, reliable and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults
- Emergency light testing, fire alarm testing, sprinkler testing
- Plant room maintenance and maintenance on plant pumps
- Maintenance on HVAC Equipment
- Carry out inspections, testing and servicing
- Fault find on electrical control systems
- Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime
Requirements
- Recognised electrical qualification – City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship, HNC/HND or equivalent
- Previous electrical maintenance experience
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience with motors, drives, control panels and electrical systems
- Good understanding of electrical drawings
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
