PRS has engaged with a new client and an established electrical & mechanical services provider for commercial and domestic projects across the Midlands. Due to team expansion and winning new contracts, we are seeking approved Electricians to join this successful business on a permanent basis, carrying out reactive visits as part of the facilities team.
Description
Within the maintenance electrician (mobile) role you will be working within a team carrying out all reactive maintenance tasks across the client portfolio. This will include breakdowns, fault-find and repairs. You will be working over a diverse property portfolio therefore a flexible approach is required. You will be attending customer sites in the West Midlands.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical equipment/systems & controls.
- Cover maintenance of electrical distribution, controls, lighting, emergency systems, building services plant room electrical systems.
- Complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements.
- Provide Electrical H&S and compliance engineering on each facility.
- Carry out fault finding on systems.
- Undertake electrical works on the BMS, power supply, lighting, power generation, HVAC, UPS, A/C units, etc.
- Respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service.
- Call out (£100 for call out).
Skills & Background Required
- Full UK driving licence.
- Recognised professional qualification e.g. City & Guilds 236 Electrical Installation Part 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3.
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
- Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment.
- Must be presentable and reliable.
- Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
- Strong planning and workload management skills with the ability to manage short‑term and long‑term activities to agreed deadlines.
