Would you like the opportunity to join a leading Facilities Maintenance provider on a brand-new commercial contract recently secured by our client? PRS Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Fabric Technician to join a growing team, delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric maintenance across a prestigious commercial office building. You can choose to be based at either Walthamstow or Hendon, depending on your preferred location.

Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric repairs across the building.
- Complete a wide range of building fabric tasks including:
- Carpentry and joinery repairs
- Painting and decorating
- Tiling and minor plastering
- Flooring repairs
- Basic glazing repairs
- Brickwork and general building repairs
- Door, lock, and ironmongery repairs
- Replace carpet tiles, ceramic floor tiles, and suspended ceiling tiles where required.
- Clean and maintain ceiling grilles and other fabric‑related building components.
- Carry out minor plumbing repairs where appropriate.
- Support the wider engineering team with general maintenance duties when required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Provide excellent customer service to building occupants and clients.
- City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3, or equivalent qualification in Carpentry, Joinery, Painting & Decorating, Plastering, Tiling, Bricklaying, or another relevant building trade.
- Previous experience working within commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
- A broad understanding of building fabric maintenance and general building services.
- Good communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Salary up to £45,000.
- Monday to Friday working hours (8:00am – 5:00pm).
