The maintenance handyperson provides general fabric and maintenance support on commercial estates, covering planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks across the area.

Responsibilities include general repairs, basic plumbing, lighting and compliance checks, fabric maintenance and room/building repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general maintenance to facilities including fabric maintenance (basic joinery, painting, etc.).
  • Minor plumbing tasks.
  • Complete compliance checks, emergency lighting and related checks (e. g., tap temperatures).
  • Assist engineers and other trades on site.
  • Perform room repairs and general fabric upgrades.
  • Work mobile across the area.
  • Ad-hoc handyperson duties as required.

Requirements

  • Maintenance/handyperson experience with solid fabric skills.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Joiners are welcome to apply.
  • Several years of prior experience, including similar roles, with good customer skills.
  • Self-motivated with a can-do customer attitude at all times.
  • Ability to complete general fabric maintenance tasks and basic plumbing knowledge.
  • Ability to operate building systems competently, safely and in accordance with applicable guidelines.
