PRS Recruitment Agency is currently seeking an experienced Q ualified Electrician / Maintenance Engineer – Fixed Wiring Testing to work with some of our most prestigious commercial clients in London
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems within commercial buildings.
- Undertake fixed wiring inspection and testing in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Complete electrical fault-finding, testing and diagnostic work.
- Carry out minor electrical installations, repairs and improvements.
- Identify defects and provide accurate reports and recommendations.
- Work safely within live and operational commercial environments.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health & safety requirements and company procedures.
- Accurately record completed works using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and site teams.
Requirements
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing – ESSENTIAL.
- Proven experience carrying out
Fixed Wiring Inspection & Testing .
18th Edition Wiring Regulations – ESSENTIAL.
- Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Good knowledge of health & safety and electrical compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
