Salary: Up to £40,000 per year

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

We are recruiting on behalf of a facilities maintenance company for a Multi-Skilled Mobile Electrical Bias Engineer to cover commercial sites across Swindon, Newbury, Reading, and the M4 corridor.

Role Overview:

  • Carry out general building maintenance and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) across multiple commercial sites.
  • Undertake electrical works, including fault-finding, repairs, and servicing of site systems.
  • Support other building services where required, including basic HVAC and minor mechanical works.
  • Conduct routine inspections, checks, and compliance testing to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Accurately complete maintenance records, PPM documentation, and health & safety reports.
  • Work independently while liaising effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance tasks during normal working hours (no call-out rota).

Requirements:

  • Fully electrically qualified.
  • 18th Edition Electrical Qualification (essential).
  • Experience as a multi-skilled electrical engineer within commercial or facilities management environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload.
  • Full UK driving licence.
