We are recruiting on behalf of a market-leading and national award-winning refrigeration contractor in the Foodservice and Food/Drink retail sector, offering excellent job stability through long-term, blue-chip contracts. Following significant new business growth, they are expanding the engineering team. This position is for an engineer to work in the Milton Keynes, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, and Buckinghamshire area.
Role Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair commercial refrigeration systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective breakdown repairs on equipment such as multi-decks, ice machines, coolers
- Ensure all work meets industry regulations and internal safety standards
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding completed work and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in an on-call rota as required
Required Qualifications:
- Current, valid F-Gas Certificate
- Experience in commercial refrigeration sector, specifically within restaurants and hospitality environments
- Strong understanding of commercial refrigeration systems in the foodservice/retail sector
- Experience with manufacturers such as Foster and Williams highly desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Must be resident in a postcode beginning with MK, OX, LU, HP or NN
Permanent position, paying a base salary of £42,757, paid travel time, with £2,543 per annum call out allowance (1 in 4), 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with plenty of overtime opportunities for the right candidate.
