Static Electrician – Farnborough
Location: Farnborough
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00am–5:00pm or 7:00am–4:00pm
Contract: 3-month temp to perm
Start Date: ASAP
Extras: Overtime available | No call-out rota

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Static Electrician to join the maintenance team at a large, modern commercial site in Farnborough.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrician with maintenance experience looking for a long-term role. The position starts on a 3-month temporary basis, with the view to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) across the site
  • Respond to reactive electrical issues and breakdowns
  • Fault finding, testing, and repairs on lighting, power, and general electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and electrical regulations
  • Assist with general building maintenance when required
  • Work as part of an on-site facilities and maintenance team

Requirements:

  • Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds 2365, 2330, or NVQ Level 3)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
  • Previous experience in a similar static building maintenance role
  • Good knowledge of PPMs, fault finding, and reactive repairs
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
