Position: Mobile Gas Engineer
Location: Merseyside
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £44,000 basic per annum, with overtime and standby payments
Key Responsibilities
- Be an integral part of the mobile maintenance team, offering gas competency to the facilities and estates
- Implement PPM on boilers, related plant, and other mechanical services
- Undertake minor project works on boiler equipment
- Provide in‑depth reports on predictive timings for remedial works and life cycle condition assessments
- Offer a high level of technical and hands‑on support while communicating daily with clients
- Participate in out‑of‑hours on‑call rotations and promptly respond to reactive maintenance issues
- Coordinate with visiting specialist sub‑contractors related to mechanical facets of the PPM schedules

Requirements
- NVQ Level 2‑3 Mechanical Discipline (e.g., heating and ventilating or equivalent)
- ACS/Corgi/Gas Safe qualifications in both domestic and commercial gas
- Proficiency in combustion and gas analyser utilisation for enhanced efficiency
- Competence in working with AHU’s, BMS, AC equipment, cold water systems, and other mechanical structures
- Full UK driving license
