An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced HVAP Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management service provider at a prestigious commercial site in North West London, conveniently located within walking distance of King’s Cross Station.
This role is ideal for a qualified electrical engineer with a strong background in building services maintenance and high-voltage systems. Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site.
- Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and fault-finding situations.
- Complete all relevant documentation, including logbooks, RAMS, and maintenance records.
- Attend client meetings and provide technical expertise and support.
- Conduct emergency lighting inspections and testing.
- Perform electrical maintenance and installation works, including lighting, wiring, testing, fire alarms, and BMS systems.
- Operate, maintain, and fault-find on Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Maintain air conditioning systems, including DX units, chilled water systems, and adiabatic AHUs.
- Service and maintain generators, control systems, and UPS equipment.
- Work on AC/DC electrical systems, including single-phase and three-phase motors.
- Support the maintenance and operation of HV/LV electrical infrastructure.
- City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Completed recognised apprenticeship or equivalent experience within Building Services.
- Proven HVAP/HV experience is essential.
- Previous supervisory experience within a technical or maintenance environment.
- Health & Safety training and strong awareness of safe working practices.
- Competitive salary of £57,000 – £65,000 per annum.
