Position: Health and Safety Trainer

Type: Permanent

Salary: circa Β£36,000 PA plus car.

Mon-Fri 40 hours per week

Location: York, Darlington, Leeds

We are recruiting a Health and Safety Trainer to work within the maintenance team and provide H&S and induction training for new staff, sub-contractors, and client personnel. The position is a permanent role paying circa Β£36,000 PA.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide training relating to on-site Health & Safety processes and procedures plus the induction of new staff.
  • Provide training and induction services to sub-contracting workers and end user personnel.
  • Keep and maintain training and induction records across the various estates on the contract.
  • Ensure inductions are kept up to date with any relevant legislation changes.
  • Ensure quality is maintained across the internal processes and associated record keeping.
  • Travel between each facility where required.

Requirements:

  • Experience and interest in the delivery of training and inductions for new personnel, ideally within an FM or H&S sector.
  • Able and willing to travel between each facility.
  • This role will also require training the successful candidate in the sector specific processes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience dealing with end users and client operations.
  • Excellent record-keeping skills.
