We are recruiting for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer based in the Glasgow area covering the maintenance of a large-scale estate. The role will involve general mechanical aspects of building maintenance including plant room, basic plumbing, HVAC and compliance.

The role is a permanent position paying up to £42,000 basic and is based on a continental shift pattern: Week one – 2 days on, 2 days off, and 3 on; Week two – 2 days off, 2 days on, and 3 off. Shifts run from 6am to 6pm.

Responsibilities
  • Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance for the following areas:
    • Mechanical plant room
    • Pumps and valves
    • Plumbing maintenance
    • Basic AHU/fan coil upkeep
    • Checks and compliance duties, including water/tap temperature checks
    • Small works installation
    • Emergency repairs
    • All ad-hoc maintenance tasks
Requirements
  • A qualified Mechanical Engineer or Commercial-grade plumber
  • Experience with plant rooms, AHUs, FCUs, etc.
  • Previous PPM and reactive maintenance experience
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Valid driving license
  • Willingness to complete fabric and plumbing tasks
  • Ability to pass a PVG check
