We are currently recruiting for a Fabric Engineer to work on a static commercial site in Farnborough. This is an ongoing temporary position with a strong opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Role

You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive fabric works across the site, ensuring the building is maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing PPMs in line with the site schedule
  • Carrying out reactive fabric maintenance tasks
  • Basic carpentry, plastering, painting, tiling, and general building repairs
  • Ensuring all works are completed safely and efficiently
  • Liaising with site management and reporting completed works

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Fabric Engineer or similar maintenance role
  • Experience working within commercial buildings
  • Good understanding of PPM and reactive maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload
  • Strong attention to detail and health & safety awareness
