Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer –Critical site
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £45K + call out allowance (£200 each time).
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00with call out rota of 1 in 3 weeks.
A major player in the Facilities Management sector is seeking a dependable and skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the on-site engineering team at a Critical building environment . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced, customer-focused environments and is confident maintaining critical electrical systems in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on all electrical systems including lighting, distribution boards, power supplies, and emergency systems.
- Conduct fault finding, minor installations , and ensure full compliance with H&S and statutory regulations .
- Plant room checks
- Support with BMS monitoring , fire alarm testing , emergency lighting checks , and maintain UPS systems where applicable.
- Liaise with centre management, tenants, and contractors to ensure maintenance is delivered with minimal disruption.
- Keep accurate records and update logbooks and CAFM systems.
Candidate Requirements:
- City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 or NVQ in Electrical Installations
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- Proven experience in a similar retail or commercial environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and good communication
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ideal experience in data centres or critical experience.
- Desirable : HV experience
