Mobile Refrigeration Engineer East Midlands
£42,757 basic salary, £2,543 call out allowance, paid door to door.
We are recruiting on behalf of a market-leading and national award-winning refrigeration contractor in the Foodservice and Food/Drink retail sector, offering excellent job stability through long-term, blue-chip contracts. Following significant new business growth, they are expanding the engineering team. This position is for an engineer to work in the Leicestershire, Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire area.
Role Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair commercial refrigeration systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective breakdown repairs on equipment such as multi-decks, ice machines, coolers
- Ensure all work meets industry regulations and internal safety standards
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding completed work and recommendations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in an on-call rota as required
Required Qualifications:
- Candidates must hold a current, valid F-Gas Certificate
- The ideal applicant will possess experience working in the commercial refrigeration sector, specifically within restaurants and hospitality environments.
- Strong understanding of commercial refrigeration systems in the foodservice/retail sector.
- Experience of working with manufacturers such as Foster, Williams, is highly desirable for this role.
- Full UK driving licence
- Must live in a postcode beginning with DE, LE or NG
On offer is a permanent position, paying a basic salary of £42,757, paid travel time, with £2,543 per annum call out allowance (1 in 4). 25 days annual leave plus stats, with plenty of overtime opportunities for the right candidate.
