Data Centre Air Conditioning Engineer Hertfordshire £53-55,000 Salary Monday – Friday Pension Scheme Overtime Our customer are a well-established Facilities Maintenance organisation, operating across the UK and Europe as part of a larger group.
Based at one of their longest held accounts across the UK for a Telecommunications and Data Centre client, the firm have just had approval foran Air Conditioning Engineer to be based across a campus of buildings in the Hertfordshire area and working Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.
Guideline salary is circa £53-55,000 basic, along with an opportunity for limited overtime and training, as well as standard company benefits.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an existing AC & refrigeration engineer to transition to a resident based position.

The Role
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment
- Carrying out reactive and emergency breakdown tasks allocated
- Carrying out inspections, fault finding and diagnosis
- Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels
- Completing job sheets electronically on a Tablet or Smartphone
- Maintaining site-based records and log books (FGas)
- Carrying out general cleaning and housekeeping to maximise life expectancy of all equipment
- Proactively working to reduce energy consumption on client sites and recommending improvements
- Working to all health, safety, compliance and local policies and procedures
- Maintaining excellent relationships with across team and customers – face to face, telephone and email
- Maintaining correct stock levels Qualifications and Experience Required
- F-Gas Cat 1
- City & Guilds level 2/3 in Electrical Engineering
- Commercial building maintenance experience in a customer-facing environment
- Experience in downflow units, CRAC units and split units
