A well-established Facilities Management provider is seeking an experienced HV Electrical Shift Lead Engineer to take a leading role at a large, critical site in Croydon. Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead engineer on shift, overseeing all electrical operations on site
  • Operate and control high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems safely and effectively
  • Deliver and supervise planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive works
  • Respond to and manage critical incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  • Monitor systems including switchgear, UPS, generators, and power distribution
  • Ensure compliance with permit-to-work systems and safe operating procedures
  • Provide technical support and guidance to engineers on shift
  • Maintain detailed shift reports, logbooks, and compliance documentation

  • Experience working within a shift pattern
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
