A small privately owned building maintenance company are currently looking to employ an additional Commercial Gas Engineer to cover the London and South-East region. Working on various commercial corporate offices contracts, hotels etc. the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs to a varied range of equipment. You must be conversant with all types of commercial boilers as well as domestic boilers and water heaters within commercial environments.
Duties
- Carry out the planned & reactive maintenance to commercial boilers and burners from all the well-known manufacturers.
- Fault diagnosis and rectification to heating systems within commercial buildings.
- Completion of job reports, recommendations, quotations etc.
- Partake in the out of hours call out rota.
Requirements
- You should ideally have previously worked within large commercial offices environments and to have at least 5 years hands on experience.
- The successful candidate will be part of a small specialist team and must be capable of operating with the minimum of supervision.
- There will be plenty of overtime opportunities and therefore must have a flexible approach.
- Engineers will need to have full Commercial Gas Safe accreditation and experience of covering the maintenance of HVAC and associated plant equipment.
