Pay: Β£14.33 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Temp to perm
Working pattern: Rota basis, 5 days out of 7. Alternative weekends required (days off given during the week).
We are currently recruiting for two Chefs to join a busy kitchen team on a temp-to-perm basis. One role will be on early shifts and one on late shifts.
This role suits an experienced chef who is confident with batch cooking and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-focused kitchen environment. Experience is prioritised over formal qualifications.
Key Duties for a Chef:- Batch cooking and preparing meals to a high standard
- Working in a busy kitchen environment
- Supporting the wider kitchen team during service
- Maintaining food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Assisting with stock control and general kitchen duties as required
- Proven experience with batch cooking
- Ability to work on a rota basis, including some weekends
- Must be a driver
- Must hold a valid DBS check
- Clean 3-year work history
- Must wear appropriate non-slip footwear
- Onsite parking provided
- Meals provided during shifts
- Access to a swimming pool during certain hours
- Two weeks off over the Christmas period
