The Role
This role reports directly into the Head of Operational Risk and will be part of a team responsible for managing operational risk to the business, employees, customers, reputation, and interests of stakeholders.
The role holder will support the business with any potential operational risk within the business and business units and supports governance by reporting of operational risk and mitigation. The role holder will work with business leads to ensure clear reporting around identified risks and remediation plans in place.
Responsibilities
As our Operational Risk Lead, some of your day to day duties will include:
- Collation and reporting of operational risks which the business units identify, providing support on capturing suitable mitigation, learning and behavioural change, monitoring, assurance and reporting on status and exceptions.
- Administration of the policy governance framework, supporting annual review process and policy attestation through our systems.
- Undertake health checks and deep dive reviews across specific business units for aspects of risk and compliance.
- Supporting management with the visibility and effectiveness of controls in mitigating risks across key risk categories and lines of defense within a three-line defense model.

- Membership of Institute of Risk Manager is desirable or working towards such membership
- Holds or is working towards an International Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management

The Process
Our interview process for this role is simple:
- First stage interview will take place virtually on MS Teams.
- Second stage interview will take place in person at our London Bridge Hub.

This allows you to provide examples of situations where you have had to demonstrate the required skills relevant to the role you are applying for. Location
We offer a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work from home up to three days a week.
