Job description: We are looking for a Korean linguist to check the transcription of four hours of video, in the arts/culture field.
You must have experience working in the arts/culture field and be very familiar with the terminology used in the art world.
You should have experience of using subtitling tools and be able to navigate them with ease, checking the transcription is correct within the tool (likely to be Subtitle Edit). You will make amendments to ensure the transcription is correct.
You will also have proofreading experience and be able to proofread subtitles in a tool such as Subtitle Edit.
Are you able to translate from English>Korean as well? In which case, please let us know on your application and detail your experience, as there is translation work that could be done by the same person.
This job is likely to start in mid-July, date TBC, therefore the delivery date will be confirmed once the start date is known. There will be other smaller linked jobs across the year.
