The Role

The Head of People is responsible for defining and executing the company's global people strategy, ensuring that our people practices enable sustainable growth, high performance, and a strong, values-led culture.

As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Head of People acts as a strategic advisor to the COO and senior leaders, helping shape organisational design, talent strategy, reward frameworks, leadership capability, employee experience, and cultural evolution.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and practical execution.

While responsible for shaping the company's people strategy, the successful candidate will also be comfortable rolling up their sleeves and delivering outcomes directly, working alongside a small, high-performing People team.

  • Develop and deliver the global People Strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the COO, Executive Leadership Team and Board.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, workforce planning, organisational design and business transformation.
  • Lead people initiatives that support growth, organisational effectiveness and change.
  • Culture & Employee Experience
  • Build and embed a high-performance, values-driven culture.
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen engagement, collaboration, accountability and employee experience.
  • Oversee employee listening programmes (engagement surveys, e NPS, focus groups) and drive action planning.
  • Champion inclusion, wellbeing and psychological safety across the organisation.
  • Talent & Organisational Development
  • Oversee talent acquisition strategy to attract and retain exceptional talent.
  • Develop succession planning, leadership development and organisational capability through performance management, coaching and career development.
  • Support leaders in building high-performing teams and lead organisational design projects.
  • Partner with and support the internal Recruiter, leading C-suite and senior leadership hiring where required.
  • Performance & Reward
  • Lead performance management, compensation and reward frameworks that drive business outcomes.
  • Manage annual salary reviews, executive compensation, equity and incentive programmes.
  • Use market benchmarking and data to inform reward decisions and Board recommendations.
  • Leadership Coaching & Advisory
  • Coach senior leaders on people leadership, performance, team effectiveness and organisational challenges.
  • Lead complex employee relations matters, conflict resolution and organisational change.
  • Provide commercially focused advice that balances business priorities with employee experience.
  • Global Operations & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation across all operating jurisdictions.
  • Oversee employee relations, restructures, investigations and policy development.
  • Manage People systems, processes, budgets and external partners.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing People team.
  • Data & Analytics
  • Use workforce data and insights to drive evidence-based decision making.
  • Monitor key people metrics including engagement, retention, performance, diversity, hiring and compensation.
  • Present people insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders and the Board.

Requirements

  • 15-20 years of experience in senior People leadership roles within high-growth, technology, fintech, or scaling organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience operating as a member of an executive leadership team.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to align people strategy with business outcomes.
  • Experience advising C-suite executives, Boards, and senior stakeholders.
  • Expertise across organisational design, talent management, employee relations, reward, and culture.
  • Strong coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing complex people challenges across multiple jurisdictions – UK experience essential; US, APAC and Israel preferable.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with operational delivery, willing to roll up your sleeves and execute when needed.
  • Must be able to attend the office
