We are looking for experienced, confident and reliable Healthcare Assistants. You will need good communication skills and the ability to work in a variety of healthcare settings providing advanced notice and short notice cover.

You will work as a member of a team in maintaining and delivering a high standard of resident care. You will implement and effectively assist in the day-to-day running of all prescribed resident care packages and assist in the meeting of all their basic care needs. You will be expected to work to a high level under the supervision of qualified nursing staff.

  • Knowledge:
    • Knowledge of care giving

  • Essential Training/education:
    • Evidence of relevant statutory and mandatory training; Manual Handling, First Aid, Basic Life support, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene/Infection Control, Nutrition and Hydration
  • Experience:
    • Recent experience of caring for patients
  • Other requirements:
    • Ability to travel to varying work locations during unsocial hours

    • Undergo a full enhanced DBS check or evidence of online DBS check

    • Vaccination

    Desirable:

    • UK Driving License
    • Flexible working hours
