At Proximo, the UK’s leading provider of specialist and adapted replacement vehicles, we are dedicated to keeping people on the move. When vehicles are out of action, we step in to provide replacements, ensuring our customers maintain their independence and mobility.

We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for two ambitious, high-energy sales professionals to help drive that growth. This isn’t a boxed-in role with a rigid brief. We’re hiring proven dealmakers and partnership builders, and we’ll shape the role around your strengths, your network, and where you win best. This role is focused on winning new business.

We’re especially keen to hear from people who’ve worked with public sector organisations, transport operators, insurers, or healthcare providers. If you understand how procurement works and know how to build long-term partnerships, you’ll fit well here. With the majority of your time focused on winning new clients, you’ll be supported by a dedicated account management function handling onboarding, service delivery, and retention.

Your role

You’ll work with senior decision-makers to position Proximo as a trusted partner across repair management, motor claims, and specialist mobility services. You’ll guide customers through the sales process, including tenders and procurement, and help them find solutions that work in practice, not just on paper.

Key responsibilities

  • Winning New Business: This is a front-foot, high-impact role focused on growth.
  • Find and develop opportunities through your network and market knowledge.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline.
  • Lead deals from first conversation through to contract award.
  • Building partnerships that last.
  • Position Proximo as a partner, not just a supplier.
  • Develop connections across our supply chain to support growth.
  • Represent the business in your market and strengthen our reputation.
  • Owning the sales process.
  • Manage tenders and structured sales processes where needed.
  • Work confidently within procurement frameworks.
  • Put together clear, relevant proposals.
  • Keep your approach organised, consistent, and professional.
  • Understand your market and where we can add value.
  • Share insight to help shape our commercial approach.
  • Match our services to real customer needs.

What we’re looking for

  • You’re not just experienced — you’re driven, credible, and results-focused.
  • Proven track record of winning new business, especially in structured or tender-led environments.
  • Experience in transport, insurance, fleet services, or public sector sales is preferred.
  • Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and building strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Comfortable working in tender-led / procurement environments.
  • Skilled in consultative, solution-based selling.
  • Proactive, resilient, and motivated by results.

Location & travel

This is a home-based role with regular travel. You should be commutable to our offices either in Chester (Head Office) or Coventry (Sales Office). Expect to travel frequently to meet prospective clients and develop new business opportunities. This role suits someone who enjoys being out in the market, building relationships face-to-face.

What we offer

We’re investing in growth, and these are important hires for us. You’ll have the support you need to focus on what you do best: building relationships and winning business. Alongside a competitive salary, you’ll have uncapped commission and real earning potential. As an Investors in People Silver employer, we invest in our people, giving you the tools and support needed to deliver meaningful impact.

Benefits include:

  • 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays and your birthday off).
  • Healthcare plan via Medicash, covering optical, dental, physiotherapy, and more.
  • Events throughout the year with a not-to-be-missed end-of-year party.
  • Funding for qualifications and apprenticeship schemes.
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave.
  • Increased employer pension contributions (5% employee, 5% employer).
  • Employee Referral Scheme (£1000 per referral).
  • Monthly Wellbeing Hour.
  • Retail Cashback Scheme.
  • Service Reward Scheme.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme.
  • Casual Dress Code.

If you know your way around public sector procurement, transport operations, motor claims, or specialist fleets, and you’re motivated to win new business, we’d like to hear from you.
