Proximity Recruitment are searching for a Social Media Executive to join a dynamic, fast paced business in Wellingborough on a rolling temporary contract (£20p/hr). The successful Social Media Executive will ideally have strong social media skills either within agency or in-house as well as being educated to degree level or equivalent.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the social content calendar and working with the Social Media Manager to define the social content plan on a weekly basis.
  • Daily posting of owned content utilising a variety of scheduling tools, including Hootsuite and Buffer.
  • Creating and posting content and engaging with customers across multiple social channels, including Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook.
  • Monitoring brand mentions and engaging with customers across multiple social channels.
  • Responding to builders and end-user comments on social media sites within the specified timescales for each platform.
  • Working alongside the rest of the social media team to respond to news items and events in a reactive, creative manner.
  • Informing stakeholders of comments in order to support the resolution process by posting responses that encourages builder/end-user to get in touch.
  • Co-management of the social media email address by responding to contributors as appropriate within brand guidelines, company policy etc.
