Proximity Recruitment are searching for a talented, commercial Marketing Analyst (circa £50,000 + Bonus) to join a thriving technology business in Northampton. The overall aim of the Marketing Analyst is to arm the marketing team and wider business with the data and recommendations needed to improve the effectiveness of campaigns through analysis, segmentation, research and profiling.

Responsibilities include:

  • Systematic reporting of campaigns and business trends to spot opportunities for improvement and therefore increased revenue.
  • Segmentation to identify opportunities for effective personalised messaging with the aim of increased conversion.
  • Customer research and profiling with the aim of improving the relevancy of messaging and therefore conversion.
  • Providing the Head of Marketing, Marketing team and wider business with campaign analysis and market intelligence designed to improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Replacing ad-hoc analysis designed to answer specific one-time questions, with systematic monitoring.
  • Gathering information on all aspects of marketing campaigns, ensuring measurability is built into the campaign itself, with the aim of determining an ROI per channel and per campaign.
  • Working with the tech team to add tested and productive segmentation types to the CRM.
  • Advising on targeting for digital advertising audiences.

You'd be working closely with Senior Management in a dynamic & fast-paced culture. The role is 5 days a week in the offices in Northampton. The successful Marketing Analyst will be degree educated with over 5 years’ experience in this field.
