Proximity Recruitment are working on an exclusive basis with an ambitious & innovative Hospitality & EPOS Technology business to find a dynamic Head of Marketing (£60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Benefits). The role will shape & develop their go-to-market proposition for domestic & international marketing strategies. On the SLT & working closely with the board, the successful candidate will manage multi-million pound budgets, an initial team of 2 with a roadmap to expand & with a view to the position growing to CMO.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop & execute a data-driven marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives to generate the MQLs required to deliver our growth plans.
  • Lead marketing analytics & reporting.
  • Own the marketing KPIs, including lead generation, conversion rates, CAC (customer acquisition cost), LTV (lifetime value), & ROI tracking.
  • Implement & manage marketing automation tools.
  • Work closely with the commercial, product & service teams.
  • Analyse customer segmentation & behaviour to refine targeted marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee digital performance, including SEO, PPC, social media, & email marketing analytics.
  • Develop & manage content marketing strategies.
  • Drive strategic partnerships & thought leadership within the hospitality technology industry.
  • Manage budgets effectively.
  • Lead, mentor, & develop the marketing team, fostering a data-driven and high-performance culture.
  • Ensure best practices for A/B testing, CRO, & campaign performance tracking.
  • Regularly report to the board.

The business is investing heavily in marketing & expanding internationally with over 900 retained brands to their name already. The successful candidate will have hospitality technology or hospitality experience. The role is based in the North of England and the successful candidate will be expected to be in the offices once a fortnight, with further flexibility for the right person.
