Proxima, part of the global consulting firm Bain & Company, has a great opportunity for a Resourcing Assistant to be based remotely. You will be central to the business, working closely with our offices in London, Leeds, Cardiff, Dusseldorf and Chicago. Proxima is an established and leading management consulting firm specialising in Procurement & Supply Chain. Responsibilities of the Resourcing Assistant:
- Working UK hours from 11:30am to 8pm, you will assist the Procurement Operations Manager in the allocation of resources to client projects in Europe and the US.
- Act as a second point of contact for the Procurement Operations Manager to advise on resource availability and capture/update resource requirements in the system.
- Input resource forecasts for pipeline deals into the resourcing system.
- Engage with client-facing consultants to discuss resource plans and client allocations via regular and ad-hoc meetings.
- Collaborate with client management to ensure sales data is accurate.
- Manage system updates, i.e. absence, new starters, resourcing requirements to maintain capacity/utilisation reporting accuracy.
- Monitor engagement resource invested vs. forecast, client downtime and internal time investment, escalating any anomalies.
- Perform audits to ensure accuracy of resource forecast data and governance is upheld.
- Track consultant time on engagement and support rotational planning activities.
- Coordinate operational review activity, including recording notes and progressing actions.
- Conduct bespoke analysis using data from resourcing and sales tools as required.
- Support with general resource solutioning.
Who we’re looking for:
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Proficient in distilling key points from meetings and emails and translating them into actionable tasks.
- Confident in building relationships with senior client managers.
- Ability to analyse data to intermediate level in MS Excel.
- Knowledge of NetSuite preferable or with the ability to learn new systems.
