Clinical Lead Opportunity in St Andrews Provost Veterinary Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and well-established team in the beautiful seaside town of St Andrews. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet ready to take the next step into clinical leadership, combining hands-on first opinion work with a key role in supporting and developing the wider veterinary team. You will help shape clinical standards, contribute to the ongoing development of the practice, and ensure we continue to deliver exceptional patient and client care.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As Clinical Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a key role in both clinical delivery and team development.
- Provide high-quality clinical care across a varied small animal caseload
- Support, mentor, and develop less experienced colleagues and new graduates
- Work closely with the Practice Director to support daily clinical operations
- Lead by example in maintaining high clinical standards and best practice
- Contribute to clinical governance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain an active role in consultations and surgery
- Participate in a 1 in 5 Saturday morning rota (8:30am-1pm) with time off in lieu
- No out-of-hours requirement
Working Pattern
Full-time: 40 hours per week. Typically 4 or 5 days per week. Flexible working arrangements considered where possible.
