Provn are proud to be partnered with a high‑growth investment technology fintech as they look to hire an IT Manager to join their team in Edinburgh. The role is to take ownership of IT operations and information security, as they grow and expand the business. This is an individual contributor role with genuine scope. On one side, you'll keep the internal IT function running smoothly – device management, access control, onboarding, and user support for a fast‑growing team. On the other, you'll drive the company through ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certification. You'll also manage server infrastructure. This is an onsite (4 days pw) role in Edinburgh.
What We're Looking For
- Hands‑on internal IT support experience – comfortable picking up a range of user requests from the mundane to more complex infrastructure requests.
- Able to own internal IT operations: device provisioning and management, user access, onboarding/offboarding, internal helpdesk.
- An interest in achieving ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certification – scoping, gap analysis, documentation, etc.
- Server (Linux) administration and bare metal or dedicated server management.
- VPN setup and private network configuration.
- MDM tooling (Jamf, Intune, or similar).
- Someone who is comfortable being the sole IT infrastructure resource.
