Our client - low-latency trading infrastructure provider - is seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer with strong capabilities in automation, Linux administration, and networking to become part of our high-performing System Engineering team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting, automating, and enhancing our infrastructure and service delivery platforms, ensuring they remain secure, highly available, and scalable. Working in close collaboration with the Systems Engineering Team, this position requires excellent analytical skills, a forward-thinking mindset toward continuous improvement, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee, maintain, and enhance the stability, performance, and availability of both new and existing infrastructure
  • Coordinate and manage patching activities across Linux and Windows environments
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve software, hardware, and network issues across internal and client systems
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, redundancy, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
  • Experience with automation tools including Ansible
  • Automate provisioning, configuration management, and ongoing maintenance processes
  • Cross collaboration with engineering teams
  • Produce and maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and troubleshooting processes

Required Experience

  • Considerable experience with Linux systems
  • Demonstrated experience with automation and configuration management tools
  • Proficiency in scripting
  • Experience with central authentication systems
  • Exposure to on-premise server deployments
  • Familiarity with source control systems
