Provn are currently engaged on behalf of our client, a fast-growing Edinburgh-based fintech who is entering a pivotal phase of growth looking to bring on a Product Manager to help scale its engineering, product and delivery capability. The role would see you work on software products aimed at innovation within the financial advisory space, leveraging AI for operational efficiency and client experience.
Whilst this role is for a Product Manager, the expectation is that the focus would be around maturing agile practices and driving delivery, and less so on the product vision and strategy. This means that this role may also suit someone from a Delivery Manager or Scrum Master background. It’s an exciting time for the business with investment in the product and team, as well as a number of high-profile initiatives to be tackled.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A track record of agile delivery within a software development environment, ideally in a start-up or fast-paced environment
- Experience in embedding delivery discipline - including prioritisation, planning, tracking and driving continuous improvement
- Strong understanding of agile best practices and well versed in delivery KPIs
- Ability to work with varying stakeholders including SMEs (Product Owners), Engineers and wider business
- Interest in growing out product/delivery capabilities and function
What the company can offer:
- Salary of up to £70,000
- Share options
- Be a key early hire with real influence over how delivery/product is run and scaled.
- Work closely with a small, sharp team in an environment that moves fast and values autonomy.
- Contribute directly to the company's next growth phase, with longer-term scope to evolve your role.
The role will require on-site presence in Edinburgh, with the expectation of being in the office 3 to 4 days per week. While there may be flexibility to increase remote working once fully embedded in the role, the early emphasis will be on fostering alignment, momentum, and a strong team culture through regular on-site engagement.
If you’re seeking your next step in a fast-paced start-up working on innovative fintech solutions where you’ll be one of the first key product hires, click “apply” and a member of the Provn team will be in touch to discuss the opportunity further.
