We’re looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a team responsible for a large-scale platform layer spanning both cloud and on-premises environments. You’ll help shape how platform services are delivered—bringing fresh thinking, maturing automation practices, and contributing to future roadmap initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in platform-heavy engineering environments and wants to influence the evolution of complex infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate and evolve the control plane across cloud and on-prem environments
  • Work with platform tooling including GitLab, Terraform, Ansible, HashiCorp Vault, Temporal, Artifactory, vSphere, Atlantis
  • Help mature and industrialise automation practices across the platform
  • Support future roadmap initiatives, including migrating the control plane to Kubernetes
  • Scripting with Go

Requirements

  • Strong experience working within a Platform Engineering team
  • Solid understanding of IaC, automation pipelines, and secure platform operations
  • Ability to identify improvements and bring fresh perspective to existing practices
  • Experience with Go for tooling is desirable but not essential
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven and comfortable working in a complex, fast-moving environment
