Job Description

We're partnered with a leading international asset manager as they seek to add an Infrastructure Engineer to their growing Infrastructure & Security team.

As the business continues to strengthen and modernise its infrastructure platforms, this role will be pivotal in supporting, owning, and delivering core on-premises and hybrid systems. This is an exciting opportunity to join a regulated, listed organisation and take responsibility for critical infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will replace a key team member and ensure continuity, resilience, and delivery across core infrastructure platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and develop the on-prem and hybrid infrastructure estate
  • Take strong ownership of VMware environments, including upgrades and lifecycle management
  • Administer and support Microsoft Windows Server environments
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory
  • Support and integrate Azure services within the wider infrastructure estate
  • Oversee infrastructure and integrations that underpin core financial applications
  • Lead and deliver infrastructure projects (e.g. VMware upgrades and platform modernisation)
