Provn is proud to be partnering with a leading legal services firm to recruit an IT Support Engineer for their Service Desk team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all hardware and software used by fee earners and support staff is fully operational and secure. The role involves rotating across a range of responsibilities throughout the week, including help desk ticket triage and allocation, second and third-line technical support, patch management, and involvement in change initiatives and project work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy, maintain, and support the firm’s laptops and iPhones.
  • Manage and support Windows, iOS, and associated applications.
  • Test, configure, and implement new hardware, software, and IT services.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of IT procedures and processes.
  • Provide application, operating system, hardware, and SaaS support to both on-site and remote colleagues.
  • Accurately log and document all support activities and change requests within the firm’s Jira service desk.
  • Resolve user issues and service requests promptly, escalating where necessary with clear and relevant information.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the line manager.
