We are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to support our client in designing, implementing, and optimising pipelines and automated deployments. Some of the main outcomes include; improving build pipelines β moving from a single shared build server to scalable, on-demand build agents that support parallel builds and faster delivery. You\βll also automate deployments to test environments and container-based services, ensuring updates flow seamlessly from code to production.
In addition, there is scope to enhance database operations by automating Postgres maintenance tasks and enabling secure offline backups, though this is considered a secondary priority and experience here is not necessary.
Ideally you\βll have the following skills:
- Azure DevOps
- CI/CD
- Bicep or other IaC
- Containerisation
- Powershell
- Postgres (a plus)
The role would suit a candidate based either in Glasgow, Edinburgh or across the Central Belt of Scotland.
