Provita Animal Health is a market-leading manufacturer of animal health products based in Northern Ireland.

We are seeking a Veterinary Advisor to join our dynamic team.

The role combines clinical expertise with commercial support to promote our animal health solutions.

Role Purpose To serve as the primary technical expert for Provitas ruminant, livestock and small animal portfolio.

You will bridge the gap between clinical research and practical farm application, supporting the sales team, agricultural merchants, and veterinary practices with evidence-based advice.

Key Responsibilities Technical Support & Advice: Act as the first point of contact for technical enquiries from farmers, agricultural merchants and vets regarding products.

Sales & Marketing

Collaboration: Design and deliver scientific training to the sales force to enhance their credibility.

Review marketing materials to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with current feed and veterinary standards.

Translate complex trial data into "farmer-friendly" technical bulletins, blog posts, and white papers while based at the office.

Technical Advice & Training: Design and deliver scientific training to distribution chain.

Research & Development (R&D): Advise internal R&D teams on new product trials, providing clinical insight into whether results indicate potential health risks or market-ready benefits.

Field

Engagement: Conduct dual calls and on-farm visits with sales representatives to provide expert consultations on complex cases, such as digital dermatitis outbreaks or neonatal scour management.

Compliance & Pharmacovigilance: Manage product complaints and adverse event reporting, ensuring all activities comply with NOAH (National Office of Animal Health) codes and local regulations.

Industry

Representation: Represent Provita at key agricultural trade shows, veterinary congresses, and farmer group meetings, delivering technical presentations on animal productivity and welfare.
