About the Role
Provita are seeking a highly driven, experienced Accounting Technician to join the team. Duties will include:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts to include ledger review, journal entry, reconciliation, and analysis.
- Processing weekly and monthly payroll using Sage 50 Payroll as well as annual P60 and P11D reporting.
- Daily bank administration including bank reconciliation, payment processing and cash flow forecasting.
- Overseeing Accounts payable to ensure correct recognition and VAT applied.
- Overseeing Accounts receivable, sales invoice processing and credit control experience.
- HMRC filings to include monthly submission and reconciliation of VAT, EC Sales and Intrastat reporting.
- Statistical reporting to the Department of Finance and other key financial stakeholders.
- Preparation of financial reports for management.
- Engaging with external auditors to carry out the annual financial audit.
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required.
The following criteria are desirable
- AAT/ ATI qualified or Part- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience using Sage 50 Payroll or similar payroll packages.
- Experience using Sage 200 or Sage 50
- Strong IT skills particularly Microsoft Excel
- Experience in a Manufacturing company
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
- Possess excellent attention to detail, problem solving and organisational skills.
Pay range and compensation package
- Company private healthcare following 6 months service
- Onsite parking
- Working hours 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Thursday, with 3pm finish on a Friday
